New course: Python Game Development™ : Build 11 Total Games
New course: Python Game Development™ : Build 11 Total Games
I purchased this course on Aug 12, 2021.
Why?
I made a few games in Python with my older son, who was, at that time, less than 4 years old.
It was a good time to talk about the Olympics, Japan, and more, Ireland, money, gold, gemstones ...
We started with very basic things, like the turtle moves around... He was super happy and excited that we wrote something, and then it gave a visual move. That time, he was not able to read or write, but he knew the numbers, so I let him type a few numbers in the code.
Why?
My sister, Judit, was only 8 years old when in primary school, where at that time, both of us went: Bolyai Janos Alt. Isk in Debrecen, Bute Gaborne decided to teach coding to class B.
In class A, usually kids studied extra folk culture, like folk dancing and extra sports. In class B, they had extra Mathematics and History, and in class C was a free style.
I was free-style. So I did whatever, I studied everything and more....
My sister was good at coding, so when she was in 4th grade, like 10 years old, she went to one of the strongest primary schools in Debrecen, which was called Dozsa Gyorgy Alt. Isk.
She continued to study more coding in her free time as well. She was a caravan leader at this time in the Summer, plus moderator for chats and forums, she did adult jobs as a child at night! In the day, she was coding; in the night, she was a moderator.
Why did I choose this course?
Because of Super Mario.
I was around 8 years old when I spent two Summers at my neighbour's to play Mario on Nintendo.
Most of the cases, I was not allowed to be Mario, max Luigi... I found it very challenging, as I also wanted to try out more features. That time, the second player had fewer options.
When was it?
Around 1993.
Where?
Hungary, Derecske
